Sandro Tonali links dismissed by Newcastle

Newcastle United have flatly denied reports suggesting Arsenal are interested in Sandro Tonali. The Italian was rumoured to be on the move to the Gunners in a blockbuster deadline day deal.

The club have labelled the claims “complete rubbish,” with sources making it clear there has been no contact between the parties.

Igor Tyjon bid rejected

Arsenal have had an opening offer turned down for Blackburn Rovers youngster Igor Tyjon.

The Gunners tabled a £1 million bid for the 17-year-old striker, whose contract is due to expire this summer, but Blackburn are holding out for more.

James Wilson discussions underway

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners are working on at least one deadline day deal. Arsenal are in talks with Hearts over a move for James Wilson.

The 18-year-old striker, already capped at the senior international level, is being considered as part of an initial loan agreement between the clubs, according to Fabrizio Romano.
