Arsenal have reportedly agreed a £3.2m deal to sign Jaden Dixon from Stoke City, with the 18-year-old set to join on a four-year contract.
The agreement was reported by Fabrizio Romano, who wrote on social media, “EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal agree deal to sign England U19 international Jaden Dixon on a four-year deal. Deal completed for £3.2m plus add-ons. Arsenal view the player as a massive signing beating several clubs to the signings.”
Dixon is viewed as a long-term defensive prospect, described in reports as a modern, ball-playing defender comfortable stepping out from the back and contributing in possession, a profile that fits closely with Arsenal’s recruitment approach at academy and development level.
The teenager came through Tottenham Hotspur’s youth system before joining Stoke City’s academy in the summer of 2023, where his progress quickly attracted wider attention across the domestic game.
At international level, Dixon made his debut for England Under-19s on 3 September 2025 in a 2-0 win over Ukraine at the Pinatar Arena and has since been a regular presence in squad selections at that age group.
Arsenal’s move secures the defender ahead of rival interest and underlines the club’s continued focus on recruiting elite young talent with a clear pathway for development within their long-term planning.
