The remarkable Caleb Williams to DJ Moore touchdown pass to beat the Green Bay Packers took home the Next Gen Stats Moment of the Year Award at this season’s NFL Honors.

Not gonna lie, I don’t know the full criteria for his award, although with Next Gen Stats involved, I’m guessing it has something to do with the probability of the catch, but regardless, considering the Chicago Bears improbable comeback to tie the game, the rivalry, Caleb’s 46 yard drop in the bucket, and Moore’s catch with a defender draped all over him to walk it off, it’s one of the best plays of all time.

DJ was in the house to accept the award because he was there as one of the 32 nominees for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

Yes, that was Seth Freakin’ Rollins who handed Moore the award, and he also predicted the Bears would be big winners on the night while on the red carpet.

And while they didn’t win all the awards, Bears left guard Joe Thuney made history by winning the NFL’s first-ever Protector of the Year Award.

Head coach Ben Johnson came in fourth place in the Associated Press’ voting for the 2025 Coach of the Year, with one first-place vote. Here’s how the voting went.

Mike Vrabel, New England: 302 points (19 first-place votes)
Liam Coen, Jacksonville: 239 (16)
Mike Macdonald, Seattle: 191 (8)
Ben Johnson, Chicago: 145 (1)
Kyle Shanahan, San Francisco: 140 (6)

The Bears were also featured in one of the better skits of the night, as Da Pope was in the house!
