He was examined in a sideline medical tent by an independent concussion specialist, then left for the locker room on his own. The Seahawks announced that he was being evaluated for a concussion.

Per the NBC broadcast, Smith-Njigba's head hit the ground at the end of a play, prompting his trip to the medical tent.
