The Gonzaga Bulldogs dropped six spots in the Associated Press Poll after the blunder at the Portland Pilots last week. The Zags are currently at No. 12 with 803 total votes.

The Santa Clara Broncos received two votes, and Saint Mary’s Gaels received one vote. There is a realistic chance that the West Coast Conference will have the same number of NCAA Tournament bids as the Big East Conference, at three each.

With Selection Sunday now 34 days away, Gonzaga has slipped and is mostly projected as a four seed in the Portland region.

In the NET rankings, coach Mark Few’s unit moved down to No. 7. The Zags are now 4-1 in Quad 1 opportunities, 5-0 in Quad 2. As for KenPom, Gonzaga also continues to slide down to No. 12 with the No. 22-ranked offense and No. 14-ranked defense.

Next is a matchup back at home against the Washington State Cougars on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 8 p.m. PT on ESPN2. Then, a vitally important Quad 1 road opportunity down at the Santa Clara Broncos on Saturday, Feb. 14.
