Dodgers Announce 32 Spring Training Invites With Chance to Crack Roster

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced their non-roster invitees Monday, a group of 32 players currently not listed on the roster.

The Dodgers’ list of players features minor league signings and prospects as well as previously unreported signings like Seby Zavala and Nick Senzel.

Pitchers and catchers will report to Camelback Ranch on Friday, Feb. 13, and the remainder of the squad will report for the first full-squad workout Thursday, Feb. 19. The Dodgers’ first game of spring training comes Saturday, Feb. 21 against the Los Angeles Angels.

Who Should the Dodgers Keep an Eye on at Spring Training?

Carlos Duran

Carlos Duran spent 2018-25 with the Dodgers before L.A. shipped him to the Athletics in exchange for Esteury Ruiz. After making a single appearance for the A’s — his MLB debut — Duran returned to the Dodgers in free agency and is looking to break into the team.

The right-hander had a 5.25 ERA in Triple-A, striking out 59 batters in 58.1 innings pitched.

Jackson Ferris

Jackson Ferris is the Dodgers’ No. 6 prospect, and currently their highest pitching prospect.

He’s put together a couple of solid seasons together in the Dodgers’ organization after coming over from the Chicago Cubs via trade, posting a 2.54 ERA with Double-A Tulsa in 2024 and a 3.86 ERA with the same club last season.

Cole Irvin

Cole Irvin, another former Athletic, is a long shot to make the roster as a starter, but could enter the bullpen in a long relief role.

Irvin had a couple of decent seasons in MLB before playing in Korea in 2025, where he posted a 4.48 ERA. While he didn’t have the best numbers, a proven MLB arm could be just what the Dodgers need in relief.

Ryan Fitzgerald

Ryan Fitzgerald has spent the majority of his career in the minors, but made a splash with the Minnesota Twins in his brief time in MLB last season.

He posted a .759 OPS in the bigs after making his debut late in the season, and has a real chance at making the Opening Day roster due to Tommy Edman’s uncertainty.

Josue De Paula and Zhyir Hope

Josue De Paula and Zhyir Hope are the Dodgers top two prospects, and are a no-brainer to keep an eye on over the next month.

The duo promoted to Double-A late in the season, and are estimated to enter MLB in 2027.

James Tibbs III

The final prospect of the bunch is James Tibbs III, who came to the Dodgers in the trade which sent Dustin May to the Boston Red Sox.

Tibbs tore up Double-A with Tulsa last season, posting a .900 OPS in 36 games. He’ll look to make an impact and climb up the ladder.
