He just kept letting it fly.

There was only one way for Mikel Brown Jr. to punctuate this evening.
The Louisville Cardinals' freshman phenom, already having broken all sorts of records, pulled up from near halfcourt. He was locked in, the game was well in hand, and he decided to let it fly.
Cash. And then Brown shrugged.
The make gave him 45 points, an ACC scoring record for a freshman (and by far Louisville's freshman record).
Brown was 14-for-23 from the field and 10-for-16 from 3-point range.
"I give all credit to my teammates," Brown told ESPN after the game. "They told me to keep going. They told me to be myself."
Brown added nine rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Brown arrived on campus as a top-10 recruit, expected to be one-and-done.
But in the early going, a few inefficient shooting nights and an injury slowed down the hype just a bit.
Brown showed up in a big way in Louisville's rivalry win over Kentucky, and in this one, he showed he truly is one of the best players in the country.
His stock has risen all the way back, and he'll surely be an NBA Draft lottery, pick, potentially in the top-seven or so selections.
Brown has unlimited range, great playmaking and handle, and really all the skillset it takes to be a modern point guard.
First, he'll try to lead Louisville on a deep March run, and if he keeps shooting like that, anything is possible.
