Links lays assist in huge AGF victory

South African international Gift Links bagged a crucial assist as his club, AGF, secured a dramatic 2-1 win over OB in the Danish Superligaen on Monday night.
The visitors broke the deadlock in the 10th minute, before Links set-up Frederik Emmery in the 86th minute, while Janni Serra completed the turnaround three minutes later.
With the hard-fought win, AGF moved four points clear at the summit of the Danish topflight standings, having picked up 43 points in 19 league outings.
Meanwhile, Links has now chipped in with four goals and five assists in 23 matches across all competitions this season.
Having missed out on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) squad, the 27-year-old wing-back will be hoping to catch the eye of Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Links will be aiming to maintain momentum when AGF return to action with a clash against FC Midtjylland in the DBU Pokalen semi-final on Thursday, 12 February.
