Barcelona are reportedly hoping to keep Marcus Rashford at the club after being impressed by the England international during his loan spell.

Rashford has made it into double figures for goals and assists already at the Camp Nou, and he’s also drawn plenty of praise from manager Hansi Flick.

The rumor mill seems convinced already that Barcelona want Rashford permanently and plan to trigger the purchase option in his contract at the end of the season.

Yet a new report from Diario Sport claims that Manchester United will not budge when it comes to price. The option for Rashford is €30m, which Barca are believe to be keen to reduce, but the Red Devils aren’t having any of it.

Sport say United see it as a “cheap” price and one that is “more than acceptable.” The report also notes how transfer figures are usually higher in the Premier League, particularly for English players, and his good form at Barcelona will also strengthen United’s stance.

Finances will once again be an issue for Barcelona this summer and may well dicate several transfer decisions.

So, is €30m for Rashford a good deal?
