The New England Patriots have been tied to plenty of big names on the trade market: Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown, Las Vegas Raiders defensive lineman Maxx Crosby, New York Giants defensive lineman Kayvon Thibodeaux.

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore can now be added to that list.

CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones reported as much on Wednesday, sharing that it could make sense for both sides to get a deal done.

"One Bears player plenty around the league are keeping an eye on is wide receiver D.J. Moore. The former first-round pick is coming off his least productive year of his career. The Patriots could be a landing spot for Moore if the Bears do a deal involving the receiver, or he could be part of a hypothetical package that goes to a needy Las Vegas team in a deal for Crosby. "

Moore, 28, is indeed coming off an uncharacteristically down season, though he has eclipsed 1,000 yards four times (2019, 2020, 2021, 2023) and is do roughly $40 million guaranteed over the course of the remaining four years of his contract, with there being an easy out after 2027.

It's not going to be the first choice, but there are definitely worse options for a team looking to revamp its wide receiver corps.
