The Sacramento Kings have been predicted to send a trio of players to the Miami Heat in exchange for a package centered around Andrew Wiggins.

The Sacramento Kings have tried to make upgrades to their roster this offseason as they try to reach the playoffs for just the second time since the start of the 2006-07 season next year.

Of course, many around the NBA expected the Kings to begin a rebuild this summer after trading De’Aaron Fox last season but they have instead kept their core, led by Domantas Sabonis, DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine, together.

Sacramento has also made some notable additions to their roster as they selected Nique Clifford and Maxime Raynaud in the 2025 draft and then landed Dennis Schroder in free agency via a sign-and-trade with the Detroit Pistons.

The Kings have also been linked to other players this offseason such as Jonathan Kuminga and Russell Westbrook but Sports Illustrated’s Rohan Raman recently released a mock trade that would land Sacramento Andrew Wiggins from the Miami Heat.

Kings predicted to land Andrew Wiggins from Heat for three players

In the trade, the Kings would send DeRozan, Malik Monk and Keegan Murray to the Heat for Wiggins, Terry Rozier, Jaime Jacquez Jr. and four first-round picks.

Miami would also send Keshad Johnson to the Atlanta Hawks who are the third team in this trade.

Of course, the Heat have been linked to DeRozan for most of the summer after they failed to land Kevin Durant from the Phoenix Suns before they traded him to the Houston Rockets and Monk would also be a solid addition to their roster.

Despite this, Sacramento would likely hold off on this trade as they have been unwilling to move on from Murray in any deal as they see him as a key part of their future.

While that may be the case, the Kings would add a solid scorer and defender in Wiggins to beef up their forward position.

Rozier would also give them a much-needed backup point guard while Jacquez Jr. would give them a young player that they could continue to develop after his playing time decreased in Miami last season.

While the Kings would be able to fill some noticeable holes in their roster by making this trade, it is highly unlikely that they would include Murray in this trade package.
