High school girls volleyball: 2025 2A team-by-team region capsules, predictions

The 2025 high school girls volleyball season gets underway this week for teams in Class 2A and throughout the state. To prepare fans for the upcoming season, the Deseret News has compiled capsules for every team in 2A. Every school was invited to participate and submit information.

The region rankings are based on coaches’ preseason projections.

There are 10 new girls volleyball coaches in 2A this year: Mike Shearer (South Summit), Jacqueline Packer (Freedom Prep), Greg Jensen (UM Camp Williams), Julia Smith (Wasatch Academy), TBD (Merit Academy), Khiaura Silcox (Rowland Hall), Brittney Melton (Grand), Ellie Anderson (Parowan), Skyann Palmer (San Juan), Kascee Jacobs (South Sevier).

Here are the 2A teams and players to watch this upcoming season.

Region 15

1. North Summit Braves

Head coach: Samantha Stephens (21st year).
