Myles Garrett cited for driving 100 MPH after Browns' preseason game originally appeared on The Sporting News
Cleveland Browns superstar Myles Garrett was given a citation for speeding early Saturday morning outside of the city.
He was pulled over at 2:01 a.m. in Strongsville, Ohio, according to ESPN. Garrett had been going 100 miles per hour in a 60 miles per hour zone.
The citation comes with a $250 fine, and he doesn't have to appear in court if he pays the fine.
The Browns spent their Friday night in Charlotte, N.C., taking on the Carolina Panthers. Garrett didn't play in the game, getting a veteran's night off, but he was in attendance.
The contest didn't wrap up until well after 10 p.m. ET. The timing suggests Garrett was driving home after arriving back in Cleveland early Saturday morning.

Garrett was at Cleveland's training camp practice Monday as a full participant, with beat reporters' highlights showing him being especially disruptive as his usually dominant defensive self.
Cleveland has Tuesday off before holding joint practices with the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday and Thursday.
This isn't Garrett's first traffic citation.
Three years ago, he was cited for failure to control his motor vehicle. That came after a single-car crash left him with a left shoulder strain and right biceps strain after the vehicle he was driving went off the side of the road and flipped over.
ESPN reported then that Garrett was driving 65 in a 45 during that incident.

The Browns signed Garrett to a new contract extension this offseason after he had previously requested a trade. Money talked, evidently, to the tune of four years and $160 million.
