No. 26
Who's wearing it now: CB Darien Porter
The Raiders selected Porter with their first pick in the third round of this year's draft. The 6-4, 195-pounder has been slotted into a starting outside cornerback pretty much since day one. Trial by fire for the former college wide receiver turned defensive back.
Who wore it best: S Vann McElroy
A third round pick in the 1982 NFL Draft, McElroy took over as the starting safety in his second season. That season the Raiders went on to win Super Bowl XVIII. McElroy had eight interceptions that year and headed to the Pro Bowl. He added another interception in the playoffs.
McElroy would head to a second Pro Bowl the year after. In total, he spent nine seasons with the Raiders, six of which as their full time starting safety. He put up 31 interceptions which is fourth most in Raider franchise history.
