Quentin Johnston injury update: Chargers WR displays 'fencing posture' after possible concussion vs. Rams originally appeared on The Sporting News
Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston likely suffered a concussion after taking a scary hit in Los Angeles' preseason Week 2 game against the Rams.
Johnston was trying to make a catch downfield on a deep ball from Justin Herbert when he took a helmet-to-helmet shot from Rams safety Tanner Ingle, who was sprinting across the field.
The concern for Johnson is very high because he exhibited fencing posture when he hit the ground. Concussions that result in a fencing position are considered to be more severe.
