You decide: Vote for the Eagle-Gazette preseason Football Player of the Year

The high school football season gets underway on Friday, Aug. 22. Here is your chance to vote for the E-G Preseason Player of the Year.

LANCASTER — With the high school football season underway Aug. 22, it’s your chance to vote on who you think will be the Eagle-Gazette Football Player of the Year.

Fans are encouraged to vote in the Eagle-Gazette Football Preseason Player of the Year Poll to determine who they think is the area’s No. 1 player heading into the season. Fans can vote as often as allowed.

The high school football season gets underway on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025. You can vote in the Eagle-Gazette Preseason Football Player of the Year poll.

The poll will run from 6 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Friday. The winner will be revealed soon after the survey concludes.
