Detroit Tigers reliever Alex Lange is back with the team for the first time since May 22, 2024 after being activated from the injured list.
The Detroit Tigers activated a right-handed reliever Alex Lange, who has four seasons of MLB experience, from the injured list Monday, Aug. 18, and called him up to the big leagues.
When he pitches, it will be his first appearance for the Tigers since May 22, 2024.
The 29-year-old has spent the entire 2025 season recovering from a right lat surgery, which he underwent in June 2024.
He racked up 26 saves in 2023 as the Tigers' closer. To open a spot for Lange, the Tigers optioned left-handed reliever Bailey Horn to Triple-A Toledo.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
