Though she's only in her second professional season, there are many who view Clark as the face of the WNBA.
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is one of these people.
Earlier this month, the four-time NBA Finals champion identified Clark as the face of the WNBA without hesitation.
"Caitlin Clark. No question," Green wrote in response to a fan on social media.
This isn't the first time Green has publicly supported Clark. Last year, the four-time NBA All Star addressed Clark's snub from the Team USA Olympic squad.
"I think Caitlin Clark should have been on the USA Team. It's great for the brand. We talk brand any other time, let's not act like it doesn't matter now," Green said. ".. The W is there, so it must be about spreading this globally, and she's the biggest global star in women's basketball... Just from a pure branding and marketing standpoint, Caitlin's the biggest."
Clark has appeared in just 13 games this season due to a variety of soft-tissue injury issues. She's missed the last month of action after suffering a groin injury against the Connecticut Sun on Jul. 15.
Despite her limited on-court action this season, Clark is still the league's most popular player. The second-year point guard received 1,293,526 fan votes for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game — more than any other player in the league.
Clark will miss her 12th consecutive game when the Fever matchup against the Washington Mystics on Friday night.
