The Indiana Fever greatly miss Caitlin Clark, who's playing in her second season in the WNBA.
Clark is widely considered the leader of the Fever and one of the biggest stars in the league, known for her scoring prowess and facilitating.
During her second season with the Fever, Clark has missed ample time due to injury. The Fever are also missing guards Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald, who were recently ruled out with season-ending injuries.
Colson suffered a torn ACL, and McDonald has a broken right foot.
As Stephanie White looks to continue building the Fever's success, Indiana has made several changes to its roster.
With the loss of those three guards, Indiana signed Odyssey Sims to a seven-day contract. She has since played two games with the Fever. Before their next matchup, the Fever extended Sims, signing the WNBA guard to her second seven-day contract.
Indiana made the move on Sims hours before playing the Connecticut Sun. They're set to enter the game against Connecticut having lost two straight games.

Odyssey Sims is one of the most experienced players on the Indiana Fever. Sims has been in the WNBA since 2014. Before playing with the Fever, Sims also played with the Los Angeles Sparks, Dallas Wings, Connecticut Sun, Minnesota Lynx and Atlanta Dream.
Throughout her two-game stretch with the Fever, Sims has posted 5.5 points, 1 rebound and 2.5 assists per game.
During the 2025 season, Sims also played 12 games with the Sparks. The WNBA guard averaged 9.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
While Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald have already been ruled out for the rest of the season, the Indiana Fever continue to monitor the return of Caitlin Clark. She has been sidelined for quite some time, forcing the Fever's hand into decisions like the signing of Odyssey Sims.
