Lions preseason game 4 - Postgame injury report following loss to Texans
As expected, no starters were allowed on the field against the Texans which allowed the team to escape very clean. The Lions philosophy the entire preseason of not playing any starters (except for rookies) has helped keep the team healthy entering the regular season.
Here are the injures I saw during the final preseason game along with suspected diagnoses.
Ezekiel Turner - right Achilles (3qtr)

-Concern for Achilles. If so, hope just strain not rupture pic.twitter.com/OSmylUY0s1
Turner got awkwardly folded up which caused forcible dorsiflexion of his ankle and hyperextension of his Achilles.
After the game, he confirmed to Dave Birkett that Achilles was indeed the concern.
Ezekiel Turner on crutches in the locker room after the game confirmed to me what it looked like on the field, that he has a possible Achilles injury. Dan Campbell also said it didn’t look good. Turner was a key special teams player for the Lions last year

If this is a complete rupture, then he'll need surgery and his season is over. The recovery is usually around 11 months. If this is a partial tear (strain), then it's possible he could be back later this season. He is currently on a 1-year deal and is an unrestricted free agent after this season.
Jacob Saylors - right lower leg (1qtr)
Jacob Saylors was out briefly with suspected right lower leg injury. Video obscured. Looked fine when he returned. pic.twitter.com/TqUFFnmrDq

Video was obscured. Saylors hobbled off but returned the next drive and finished out the game. No concerns here.

THE GOOD NEWS
Key reserves stay healthy
While no starters played, many key reserves were in the game for the first half. This included Kyle Allen, Grant Stuard, Avonte Maddox, Isaac TeSlaa, Al-Quadin Muhammad, Rock Ya-Sin, Dan Skipper, and Pat O'Connor. None of them got hurt.
Graham Glasgow - left leg, 8/21
Glasgow was hurt in practice two days ago. Postgame, Dan Campbell confirmed that Graham Glasgow will be fine.
Dan Campbell said Graham Glasgow should be good to go. Vaki may be a little bit longer, but isn't considered serious.

Ezekiel Turner's injury today appears to be serious.
Ahmed Hassanein - right pec strain, 8/11
Hassanein posted on Instagram today that he could return "sooner than anticipated." My expectation has been that he would be placed on IR-to-return at the 53-man cutdown. But his post increases hope that he can avoid IR and be back in September.
