Rayna Vallandingham, a 13-time Taekwondo world champion, brought her legions of fans to the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue during her rookie 2025 appearance.

For her debut, the San Diego native flaunted her chiseled athlete’s bikini body in a series of tiny suits, including a color-block micro string bikini that SI Swim recently shared on social media as a throwback to summer.

“Rayna Vallandingham and this vibrant, summery swimsuit stole the show during her SI Swimsuit debut in Jamaica for the 2025 issue,” the brand captioned the Saturday, September 20 share on X (formerly Twitter).

The caption also linked to a fashion story on the tiny, colorful “Bucci Bitty Bikini” from Andi Bagus. The article on SI Swimsuit said that the Taekwondo star had an “ethereal glow and sculpted figure” that “stole the show.” It said the suit, in bright colors such as red, turquoise and purple, “fit her like a glove and showcased her muscles and curves to perfection.”

Vallandingham “has quickly emerged as a fan favorite for her blend of discipline, style and edge,” wrote the outlet, which also touted her appearance as Zala Malik in the final season of Cobra Kai. It went on to say that she “is no stranger to breaking boundaries. But her impact is much deeper than just the accolades.”
