It was a bad week to be a former Pittsburgh Steelers running back, as not one but two of them suffered apparent serious injuries in Week 3.

Former Steelers first-round pick Najee Harris was the first back to get hurt.

Harris suffered a non-contact injury in the Los Angeles Chargers' game against the Denver Broncos and was ultimately ruled out.

Based on video, it appears that Harris suffered a torn Achilles, although that has not been confirmed yet. The Chargers called it an ankle injury officially.

Then, not long after that, Arizona Cardinals running back and former Steelers third-round pick, James Conner, suffered an ankle injury in the second half of the game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Conner had to be carted off the field and was surrounded by his teammates, which signals that the injury might be season-ending.

While Conner has had some injury issues during his career, Harris had been as durable as they come during his.

Harris never missed a game for the Steelers over his four years with the team, something that is made more impressive by the fact that Harris carried a huge workload year in and year out.
