Corbin Carroll has once again put together an elite season with the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 25-year-old from Seattle, Washington, was named the 2023 NL Rookie of the Year, and now, in 2025, he made franchise history.

Carroll became the first player in Arizona history to join the 30/30 club. With his home run in the second inning, it was his 31st home run of the season. He then stole a base in the sixth inning, for his 30th of the season.

No player in Diamondbacks history has ever done it before.  Juan Soto, Jazz Chisholm and Jose Ramirez are the other players in MLB to accomplish it this season.

More importantly for Arizona, they won the game over the Philadelphia Phillies. That put them 79-77 on the season, and they are now just a single game behind the New York Mets and Cincinnati Reds for the final National League wildcard.

It was a strong outing for Eduardo Rodriguez, who was able to get into the seventh inning without allowing any runs.
