Ebere Eze says his first Arsenal goal was something he has been dreaming of for “a very long time”.
Arsenal’s £67.5m summer signing scored his side’s first as they beat League One side Port Vale 2-0 to reach the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

Leandro Trossard later came off the bench to add a second for his side.
Eze, a boyhood Arsenal fan, played for the club’s academy as a youngster before he was released.
And after returning to the club from Crystal Palace this summer, he says he hopes his goal is the first of many for the Gunners.
“Very special,” he said on scoring his first goal for the club. “Of course it’s something I’ve been working towards for a long time so I’m happy to get the first and hopefully it’s the first of many.
“It was a difficult place to come. They’re a solid team and you know what you’re going to get.
“It was a quality first goal and we move forward.”
