World Cup 2026 (Q): Ethiopia will host Guinea-Bissau in Rwanda
Ethiopia will play their upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Guinea-Bissau at Amahoro Stadium in Rwanda this October.
Ethiopia is among several African nations whose stadiums do not meet international standards for hosting qualification matches. As a result, CAF has granted Ethiopia special permission to play outside its borders in their quest for a spot at the World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Against Guinea-Bissau, Ethiopia will therefore play at Kigali's Amahoro Stadium.
