Talks reach final stage as club delegation negotiates in Lisbon
Historic Move Looms: ex Benfica Coach on Brink of Al Ahly Move
Al Ahly's negotiations with former Benfica coach Bruno Lage are on the verge of completion according to Portuguese outlet OJOGO.
Salary talks nearly settled
The Cairo giants reportedly offered the 49 year old tactician 4.8 million euro annual salary. Lage, however requested additional 200000 euro bringing the total to €5 million.

Direct talks in Portugal
Al Ahly's already dispatched a special delegation to Lisbon to accelerate discussions.
The agreement could be finalized within hours with the expectation that Lage will assume his role during the upcoming international break.

The report also highlighted Al Ahly's historic ties with Portuguese coaches, most notably Manuel Jose who guided the club to 4 CAF Champions league title.
