Atlantis Jr.‘s 964 day title reign is just one of many that are on the line at CMLL Night of Champions in Arena Mexico.
Friday, September 26 will be Night of Champions for CMLL in Arena Mexico. Seven title bouts were revealed with fans voting for the challengers.
The CMLL Night of Champions lineup includes:
- World Historic Light Heavyweight Championship: Atlantis Jr. (c) vs. Xelhua
- CMLL World Mini-Estrellas Championship: Ultimo Dragoncito (c) vs. Angelito
- Mexican National Women’s Championship: India Sioux (c) vs. Kira
- World Historic Welterweight Championship: Mascara Dorada (c) vs. Capitan Suicida
- Mexican National Trios Championship: Felino Jr., Hijo de Stuka Jr., & El Cobarde (c) vs. Stigma, Arkalis, & Rayo Metalica
- CMLL World Middleweight Championship: Templario (c) vs. Villano III Jr.
- CMLL World Micro-Estrellas Championship: Tengu (c) vs. Kemalito
The longest reigning champion of that bunch is Atlantis Jr. at 964 days and counting. Templario isn’t far behind at 867 days. The rest of the crop rounds out with Ultimo Dragoncito at 678 days, Mascara Dorada at 649 days, Tengu at 267 days, India Sioux at 202 days, and the trios team of Felino Jr., Hijo de Stuka Jr., & El Cobarde at 101 days. For reference, last year’s Night of Champions featured three title changes.
