Bayern Munich is building an identity…
Bayern Munich board member for Max Eberl indicated that he never has to worry about the team’s resilience and effort with Vincent Kompany at the helm.
Heading into a Friday showdown with Werder Bremen, Eberl is confident.
“As Vinnie said, it might be that there’s a period in the season where results aren’t as good. The way we handled that a year ago was brilliant. The experiences were important for the journey we’d undertaken. You see today where it’s brought us to – we always fight for the rewards of our efforts. Bremen won’t be a walk in the park either. We always have to try to win everything — and I think we’re on a very good path there,” Eberl said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
The heart and willingness to battle has been a trademark of the team this season. If that continues, Bayern Munich could be in tremendous shape for the long run of the campaign.
Bayern Munich will host Werder Bremen in a Bundesliga match that — on paper — looks a little lopsided.
Okay, a lot lopsided.
The Bavarians are scorching hot and Werder Bremen has a slew of injuries, which makes for what could be a very tough challenge against a Bayern Munich team than can just wear down the opposition.
