CAF Champions League: JSK crushes Bibiani and advances to the second round!
JS Kabylie confirmed its status in the African Champions League. Already victorious in the first leg against Ghana’s Bibiani Gold Star (2-0), Zinnbauer’s men put on a real show for the crowd at Hocine Aït Ahmed stadium, cruising to a commanding 5-0 win in the return fixture. Akhrib opened the scoring in the 7th minute before veteran captain Ryad Boudebouz converted a penalty to widen the gap. The Canaries then took complete control, leaving their opponents unable to cope with the Kabyle onslaught.
After the break, JSK’s dominance turned into a full-blown exhibition. Reduced to ten men following Ankrah’s dismissal, the Ghanaians collapsed under wave after wave of green-and-yellow attacks.
