No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide will be without another starter for the foreseeable future. Outside linebacker Qua Russaw will be out for "an extended period" with a broken foot, coach Kalen DeBoer said Monday.

The 6-foot-2, 234-pounder from Montgomery, Ala. suffered the injury early in a 24-21 win over Georgia on Saturday night and will have surgery later this week.

"He won't be out for the season, but it will be an extended period of time," DeBoer said.

Russaw is the latest Tide player to deal with a setback. Jah-Marien Latham was ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering a neck injury in practice last week.

"Jah-Marien will recover fully," DeBoer said. "That's the main thing in the big picture of everything. But unfortunately won't be back this season."

As of now, Yhonzae Pierre will start in place of Russaw at home against 16th-ranked Vanderbilt this week. Justin Hill will be in the rotation as well. The duo have combined for 12 tackles and a sack this season.

Alabama hosts the Commodores with both teams ranked for the first time in series history. ESPN College GameDay will be on site before the afternoon affair (3:30 p.m, ABC).
