MIAMI GARDENS, Fla., Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill sustained a left knee injury and was carted off the field in the third quarter Thursday against the New York Jets. He was then taken to the hospital.

Hill was hurt after making a 10-yard catch about 1:39 into the second half.

Hill caught the pass near the right sideline and was pushed out of bounds by Jets defensive back Malachi Moore. Broadcast cameras showed Hill's left leg bend awkwardly as Moore grabbed his right leg for a tackle. Hill then grabbed his knee and remained on the ground.

Dolphins medical personnel assisted Hill before he was loaded onto a stretcher, with his leg placed in an air cast, and taken to the locker room. He smiled and waived to fans on his way out of the tunnel.

Hill logged six catches and led all pass catchers with 67 yards at the time of his exit. He totaled 21 catches for 265 yards and a score through his first four starts of 2025.

The Dolphins (0-3), who led the Jets 10-3 at the time the injury, will face the Carolina Panthers on Sunday in Charlotte, N.C.
