The Chiefs won't go quietly.
1 thing Andy Reid has noticed about his Chiefs after opening month originally appeared on The Sporting News
The Kansas City Chiefs' opening month of football can be best described as a mixed bag, with some good, some bad, and some downright awful.
But after four weeks, the Chiefs sit at 2-2 and suddenly, have the entire NFL landscape on notice.
After starting 0-2 with losses to the Los Angeles Chargers and the Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City has beaten the New York Giants and then curb-stomped the Baltimore Ravens to put itself back on the Super Bowl radar.
Many think that the Chiefs are "back" after dominating the Ravens, but what has Andy Reid learned about his team after the first month of the season?
“They'll fight you,” Reid said. “It's maybe not all pretty, but they're going to keep fighting, and when you fight, study, practice hard, and do all those things, you're going to make progress. I've seen that from them. They haven't really flinched on some of the negative things that have gone on or negative plays. They just want to just get back on the horse and go.”

Are the Chiefs finally back?
After the 37-20 win over the Ravens, you could easily make the case, and while it is only one game, I think it is the manner in which the Chiefs won that lends itself to the thought that the AFC champs have awoken.
They dominated every phase of the game, and the offense, which had been horrible through three weeks, suddenly looked explosive, imaginative, and, more importantly, it scored points.
Yes, the Ravens defense was beat up, but the Chiefs dealt with them in such a way that it leaves me with no other thought than Kansas City might be back.
Of course, I want to see how they fare in their next two against the Jacksonville Jaguars and then the Detroit Lions before truly announcing their return, but make no mistake about it, the Chiefs might be about to flex their muscles on the rest of the NFL.
