Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders is unsurprisingly trending on social media yet again, and not for a good reason.
The Browns' other first-year QB, Dillon Gabriel, was named Cleveland's starter for Week 5, so Sanders was asked his thoughts about the switch-up. Instead of giving reporters an answer, the former Colorado Buffaloes signal caller turned into a mime, simply mouthing words when asked questions.
This set social media on fire with a plethora of fans calling out the 23-year-old for this childish decision. This includes two-time Super Bowl champion and longtime New England Patriots center David Andrews, who took to X to express his disapproval of Sanders' action.
"One of the more childish immature things I've seen haha," Andrews posted.
Andrews shared a locker room with the near-consensus G.O.A.T., Tom Brady, along with a plethora of other all-time greats during his time in New England. It's safe to say he's qualified to speak on the professionalism of another NFL player, especially one whose every word and action is watched by the media.

While Andrews is one of the first NFL players to put Sanders on blast for this, millions of fans have viewed and reacted to the clip in less than a day.
With Flacco benched and Gabriel taking over, it's plausible to assume Sanders is next in line to get his shot with the Browns. It remains to be seen whether the decision to not support or criticize the Browns' choice to start the former Oregon Duck will hurt his chances of getting on the field.
