SCRIMMAGE IS PART OF BLUE WEEK, CELEBRATING START OF 2025-26 SEASON
The Philadelphia 76ers announced today details for the 2025 Blue x White Scrimmage, presented by Ticketmaster, which is set for Sunday, Oct. 12 at noon. The annual event will again be held at Chase Fieldhouse, home of the Delaware Blue Coats, the team’s NBA G League affiliate.
The free event will feature the 2025-26 76ers roster during the family-friendly event. Philadelphia is in the midst of a four-game preseason slate ahead of the team’s season opener on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Boston (7:30 p.m., NBC Sports Philadelphia).
Squad 76, Sixers Stixers, 76ers mascot Franklin, Blue Coats mascot Coaty, and DJ Ghost will also be on hand, providing entertainment throughout the afternoon.
Tickets will be available to 76ers and Blue Coats Season Ticket Members via a special link starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 3. At 11 a.m., Partial Plan and Group Ticket Holders will have the opportunity to claim tickets. Tickets will then be available to the general public at 1 p.m. on Friday.
Chase Fieldhouse doors open at 11:30 a.m. for ticketed guests.
The annual Blue x White Scrimmage is part of Blue Week, which celebrates the start of the 76ers 2025 season.
From Oct. 12 through the season opener on Oct. 22, the team will launch a series of fan-centric activations, including limited-time special ticket offers, Hardwood Classic jersey on-sale, and the chance to win a 76ers autographed jersey in honor of NBA Jersey Day presented by Crypto.com. More details on Blue Week will be available on Sixers.com and social media accounts in the coming days.
The Sixers are currently in Abu Dhabi to play a pair of preseason games against the New York Knicks. Their other preseason contests fall on Oct. 10 against Orlando and Oct. 17 against Minnesota, so the scrimmage will fall in between those two games. In my opinion, the scrimmage is one of the best things the organization does for fans. It’s free, and a great opportunity for fans to see players up close in a smaller setting in at least some facsimile of a game environment. For people who don’t want to pay an arm and a leg to take their kids to the Wells Fargo Center Xfinity Mobile Arena to see their favorite club, a short drive down to Wilmington is a nice option. We can only hope some of the bigger names are healthy enough to participate and no one else on the roster falls victim to the Sixers curse before Oct. 12.
