The Rebs are sitting at 4-0 and on a well-deserved bye week but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of stress-free football to partake in this weekend.

Even though the Rebs are currently on a hot streak, there is nothing better than being able to kick back and enjoy fabulous matchups that won’t affect your mood for the rest of the week. Not sure which games to tune into? I’ve got you covered.

#16 Vanderbilt @ #10 Alabama

  • I am very much looking forward to the Commodores making their way to Tuscaloosa on Saturday and even though they got the win against the Tide last season, they are coming to Saban Field with a chip on their shoulder. Diego Pavia continues to win (and shock) fans across the nation, and the good thing about Vanderbilt is that the Rebs don’t have to play them this season. They have a certain edge to them and are sitting at 5-0. Bryant-Denny Stadium isn’t an easy place to get a win, but crazier things have happened. You can watch College Gameday in T-Town at 8a CT and then watch the ‘Dores take on the Tide at 2:30p CT.

Mississippi State @ #6 Texas A&M

Confession: I don’t believe that State should ever have anything happy or good, but I also think it’s insane that they aren’t ranked in the top-25. There, I said it. Nevertheless, this game is incredibly intriguing to me. This isn’t the same State team that we saw last year, and even thought A&M looks very good, this could be a trap game for them. The Bulldogs are sitting at 4-1 and are coming off of a close overtime loss to Tennessee last week. State will be playing with a chip on their shoulder and head coach Jeff Lebby still has a lot to prove in the SEC. Could this be another marquee win for the second year head coach? We’ll see at 6:30p CT on Saturday…

#3 Miami @ #18 Florida State

  • Florida State could have had it all heading into this game, but instead, they lost in double overtime to Virginia and were on the losing end of the craziest field rush I’ve ever seen. They fell 10 spots in the AP Poll and need a nice get-right game. Unfortunately, Miami looks very good. If we were to rank the most underrated rivalries in college football, this matchup is definitely up there. These games tend to get a little wonky and that usually doesn’t include a top-25 matchup. This will be a perfect primetime game to finish the night with a 6:30p kick, unless you’re a true sicko and staying up to watch Duke v. Cal at 9:30p CT

Let us know which games I missed.
