Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold took to social media in the wake of the news he would miss significant time with a shoulder injury and he offered an upbeat seven-word message for fans.

The Detroit Lions gave some terrible news on injured starting cornerback Terrion Arnold on Monday.
Head coach Dan Campbell revealed that Arnold would miss a significant amount of time after he exited the Week 5 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals early with a shoulder injury.
When asked if he thought Arnold's injury might be season-ending, Campbell said he wasn't sure.
“He’s going to be out for a while,” Campbell said, according to Jeremy Reisman of Pride of Detroit. “He’s going to be out for a long time.”
"I don't know that," Campbell said when asked if it's a season-ending injury for the former first-round pick. "But it'll be a while."
Shortly after Campbell revealed that news, Arnold took to social media to offer an upbeat seven-word message.
"God doesn’t make mistakes," Arnold said on X. "I’ll be back"
Sucks doesn't even begin to describe this turn of events.
Arnold had what was arguably the best game of his career in Week 5 and now he appears to have a long recovery process ahead of him. Making matters worse, the Lions are also without D.J. Reed, who is on injured reserve.
Along with Arnold, Campbell said that fellow cornerback Khalil Dorsey is going to be out a long time, also, leaving Detroit even more short-handed at the position.
With those three out, the Lions will turn to Amik Robertson, who was already filling in for Reed, Rock Ya-Sin and Avonte Maddox. The team also has Tre Flowers and Nick Whiteside on the practice squad.
It'll be interesting to see if the Lions bring in some outside help via trade and/or free agency, or if they stay in-house. We would assume, at the very least, an outside addition will be made.
