Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor accused Salah of being "lazy in defense" and compared his style to Lionel Messi’s late career approach saying he "walks instead of pressing".
Former Liverpool player Danny Murphy added that Salah’s attacking focus is hurting the team’s structure claiming the Egyptian’s presence "disrupts the balance" of the squad.
