The Denver Broncos are 3-2 and on a hot streak as they head to London to face the New York Jets in Week 6.
The Broncos defeated the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, getting one of the biggest team wins in recent years. Not only did the Broncos do something they were just 1-112 all-time in doing by coming back from 14 or more points down in the fourth quarter on the road to win, but they handed the Eagles their first home loss since Week 2 of last season.
The Broncos left Philly with the win, but they didn't come out of there unscathed.
Following the game, news came out that starting guard Ben Powers would not be making the trip to London as he had suffered a biceps injury during the game. On Tuesday, the team confirmed that Powers will be placed on injured reserve and that the hope is that he will be back in the lineup sometime in December.

That means he will miss most of the rest of the regular season, meaning the Broncos are going to have to shake up their offensive line with a new starter for the first time in awhile. Powers has yet to miss a game for the team since signing with the Broncos ahead of the 2023 season.
Denver Broncos replacement options for Ben Powers
Third-year offensive lineman Alex Palczewski will likely assume the starting role for Powers. Palczewski is the team's top rotational offensive lineman, and he has played well when his number has been called.
The team also has third-year player Alex Forsyth and Calvin Throckmorton, who is on the practice squad, as other options the team could call upon.

While many teams around the league are being ravaged by injuries, the Broncos have been fairly fortunate in that category by comparison. The loss of Powers is easily the biggest blow so far. The team will have to hope that Palczewski ends up being a seamless addition to the lineup.
