It's Week 7 of the Iowa high school football season, and IHSAA district competition is underway for all seven teams from the Ames area.
Six high school football teams from the Ames area will continue competing against group and district competition and one school will go outside the district on Friday, Oct. 10. Here is what is in store for Week 7 of high school football games in the Ames area.
Ames-area Iowa high school football schedule, Week 7
- Ames vs. Ankeny, 7 p.m. at the Ames High Football Stadium in Ames
- Ballard vs. Gilbert, 7 p.m. at Rich Strouse Field in Huxley
- Nevada vs. Saydel, 7 p.m. at Cub Stadium in Nevada
- Hampton-Dumont-CAL vs. Roland-Story, 7 p.m. at the Hampton-Dumont High School Football Field
- Collins-Maxwell vs. North Tama, 7 p.m. at Collins-Maxwell High School
- Colo-NESCO vs. Baxter, 7 p.m. at the Colo-NESCO Jr./Sr. High School
