Luke Littler faced Gian van Veen in a difficult first-round matchup at the 2025 World Grand Prix of Darts.
Despite van Veen having a tournament-record performance, Littler still came away with the win and is on to round two.
When does Luke Littler play in the second round of the World Grand Prix?
Littler's win on Tuesday against van Veen was his first career Grand Prix win, after being eliminated in the first round on debut in 2024.

Littler is set to play the 2024 World Grand Prix champion, Mike De Decker, on Thursday in the second round.
Littler and De Decker will play on Thursday evening during the night session's third game.
The game will take place at approximately 8:45 P.M. local time and 3:45 P.M. EST.
If Littler can get past De Decker, he'll play the winner of the game between Josh Rock and Gerwyn Price.
