Barcelona star Fermin Lopez will remain on Chelsea’s list of targets incase he decides he wants to leave the club according to Fabrizio Romano.
Chelsea had a busy summer in which they made six signings, with five of those attackers as the front line underwent a major revamp.
Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, Alejandro Garnacho and Facundo Buonanotte all arrived, whist Noni Madueke, Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix all left.

Despite making those signings, Chelsea did miss out on the likes of Xavi Simons, who joined Tottenham, and Lopez who opted to remain at Barcelona.
After turning their attention away from Simons, Chelsea honed in on Lopez, but were unable to convince the Spain international to leave.

Chelsea had a bid for Lopez rejected, whilst Enzo Maresca reportedly spoke to the player on more than one occasion.
Lopez has spoken on Chelsea’s interest in him, and insisted he’s more than happy at Barcelona, but Romano has provided an update.
“Fermin Lopez remains and will remain on Chelsea target list for the next years in case he ever decides to leave,” he told his YouTube channel.
Lopez is currently under contract until 2029 and has scored twice in five appearances in all competitions this season.
Chelsea well stocked in attack
Despite missing out on the Spaniard, Chelsea have more than enough options in attack, but the club have shown they aren’t afraid to move players on quickly if they feel it’s not working out.

Chelsea already have striker Emanuel Emegha arriving from Strasbourg next summer, along with winger Geovany Quenda.
Emegha is set to be the Jackson replacement, but it’s likely someone will need to leave in order to create space in the squad for Quenda given the Blues already have four wingers.
