WWE Crown Jewel predictions, picks: Who wins champions vs. champions, Cena vs. Styles?

The top stars in WWE will face off at Crown Jewel for an ultimate prize, as well as legends in John Cena and AJ Styles squaring off.

There's plenty of big-time matchups that happen in WWE, but it doesn't get better than champions vs. champions.

WWE Crown Jewel 2025 will feature the top title holders in the company squaring off in the ring, which should prove who really is at the top of the men's and women's divisions. It's even better when the men's side − Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins − features established stars with history, and the women's side − Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer − will have two young champions on the cusp of being the face of wrestling.

With John Cena's career coming to a close, fans finally get the one match they've been hopeful to see one last time in AJ Styles. Two legends of the ring meet one last time in what could be a spectacular bout.

Who will win at Crown Jewel? USA TODAY Sports gives its predictions on what will unfold:

Rhea Ripley makes her entrance before a triple threat match against Naomi and Iyo Sky during the WWE 2025 SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium on Aug. 3, 2025 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane)

Jordan Mendoza: This might be the most compelling story in WWE, especially with all of the directions this could go. However, you just can't let Ripley lose in her home country. Her and Sky pick up the victory, but this feud remains far from over in something that could carry over into Survivor Series. Winner: Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky.

Richard Morin: I might be in the minority, but I'm enjoying this story as it's something fresh and non-title related for both Ripley and Sky. It's also a nice showcase opportunity for upcoming shows in both Australia (where Ripley is from) and Japan (Sky). That being said, Ripley and Sky need to stand tall here. Winner: Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky.

Australian street fight: Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed

Jordan Mendoza: Expect tons of brutality in what could end up producing the "OMG" moment of the night. Reigns is looking for revenge after Reed's onslaught a few months ago, so expect him to be very aggressive in this. Bron Breakker will definitely come out in this, but don't be shocked if The Usos come out to counter it and help the "Tribal Chief" win this one. Winner: Roman Reigns.

Richard Morin: The Tribal Chief needs his revenge after Reed and faction-mate Bron Breakker relegated him to a stretcher at Clash in Paris. Winner: Roman Reigns.

John Cena vs. AJ Styles

Jordan Mendoza: Finally, we get the one match we've been begging for. They are nowhere near their primes, but that won't stop this from being an absolute classic. Give these men all the time they want to put on a captivating performance. In a back-and-forth affair, Cena outlasts Styles to get the farewell tour back on track. Winner: John Cena.

Richard Morin: WWE clearly had no plans to run this match until Cena, Styles and the general public basically forced them to. I'm not really sure what we're going to get here with basically zero build, but it feels like Cena will come out on top. Winner: John Cena.

WWE Women's Crown Jewel Championship match: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Tiffany Stratton

Jordan Mendoza: This one is interesting considering WWE has built Stratton as a dominant champion, while Vaquer has had a meteoric rise to the top. Something has to give that will halt all momentum. While Stratton has established herself, Vaquer is too talented and beloved to drop it, and a victory will push her toward the elites of the company. Winner: Stephanie Vaquer.

Richard Morin: Although Stratton is undefeated in 2025, Vaquer, who flew through NXT in record time, currently has a rocket ship strapped to her back. Something has to give here, and I don't think it would be wise for WWE to halt Vaquer's momentum. Winner: Stephanie Vaquer.

WWE Crown Jewel Championship match: Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins

Jordan Mendoza: Once foes and friends and foes again meet in a critical matchup. Rhodes has had Rollins' number ever since he came back to WWE, but the World Heavyweight Champion desperately needs this victory to keep his legitimacy alive. There will be chaos, and Rollins finds a way in an upset. Winner: Seth Rollins.

Richard Morin: There's been a lot of good build -- and justifiably so -- for this match. A win here just feels massive for Rollins and The Vision to further stake their claim as the future of the industry, and for Rollins to finally get one over Rhodes. Winner: Seth Rollins.
