Scoring twice against Italy (3-0), Benjamin Cremaschi propelled the United States into the quarter-finals of the 2025 U20 World Cup With this performance, he seized the sole lead in the top scorers' chart.

He hadn't scored since his hat-trick against New Caledonia, but Benjamin Cremaschi found the back of the net again on Thursday night in the round of 16 of the tournament in Chile.

With five goals, he's ahead of Argentina's Alejo Sarco and France's Lucas Michal, who each have four. The former opened the scoring for the Albiceleste against Nigeria (4-0), while the latter netted the winner for Les Bleuets against Japan from the penalty spot in the 120+3rd minute.
