It was a busy weekend of regional tennis action around the state. See which Shawnee County players punched their ticket to next week's state tournament.
TOPEKA — The postseason is underway for fall sports in the Sunflower State. Tennis is the first sport to take centerstage, and it all began with regional play on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 10-11.
The top six singles players and top six doubles teams from each region have qualified for next week’s state championship tournament. Shawnee County will be well represented at next week’s state tournament in all classifications.
Here’s who qualified from the Topeka-area for the state tournament.
