It's official! Didier Deschamps has named the new captain of the French national team in the absence of Kylian Mbappé.
Speaking to Téléfoot this Sunday, Didier Deschamps, head coach of Les Bleus, announced that Mike Maignan will wear the captain's armband on Monday. This will be against Iceland, as Kylian Mbappé is ruled out.
