The Cleveland Browns are in the midst of yet another rough season. They are 1-5 through six games, and just watched Joe Flacco throw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Cincinnati Bengals to a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
With their season already all but done in terms of playoff hopes, the Browns have been labeled a team that could sell off pieces at the trade deadline. Vinnie Iyer projects that they will trade a pair of starters in Wyatt Teller and Joel Bitonio. In terms of Teller, Iyer says a trade with the Eagles makes sense.
"The Eagles need some interior help to upgrade from right guatrd Tyler Steen next to right tackle Lane Johnson," Iyer writes. "Teller is a pending free agent who still has something left to fit in well with their interior blocking scheme."
In addition, Iyer says the Broncos should trade for Bitonio.
"The Browns' long-time star left guard is also unsigned beyond this season," Iyer writes. "They need some guard help with Ben Powers out with a biceps injury. Bitonio would be a welcome plug and play to make Denver stronger up front for both Bo Nix and the power running game."
It's rare to see starting offensive linemen get traded in season, so this would come as a shock if the Browns move two.
