The Los Angeles Rams need more out of wide receiver Jordan Whittington and Tutu Atwell in Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

That's because No. 1 wide receiver Puka Nacua is out due to an ankle injury, which leaves Davante Adams as Matthew Stafford's top target.

But the Rams need Atwell and Whittington to provide some support, although neither one has provided that early on against Jacksonville.

Here's what's going on.

Is Jordan Whittington playing today?

UPDATE: Whittington has his first catch of the game on Los Angeles' third drive.

It didn't gain any yards, though.

END OF UPDATE

Yes, Whittington is active and on the field, Stafford just hasn't thrown him the football yet. Stafford has targeted his tight ends heavily over the first two drives and Adams has been involved, too.

Not a great start for the young wideout.

Is Tutu Atwell playing today?

UPDATE: Three drives, still no targets for the wideout.

Whittington did get a few targets on the third series. Hopefully Atwell is next.

END OF UPDATE

Yes, Atwell is on the field for Los Angeles.

Again, it has been a heavy dose of tight ends and Adams for Stafford thus far. We'll see if he can get going on series No. 3.
