The Philadelphia Eagles have been the NFL's best soap opera of 2025. During a 4-0 start, A.J. Brown voiced frustration with his lack of usage in a cryptic tweet. Following the team's two-game losing streak, the star wideout said he didn't know what the reporters were talking about when asked about a meeting between him, Saquon Barkley, and Jalen Hurts. Well, Hurts has all but guaranteed there won't be any Brown drama this week.
The duo connected on the first touchdown of the game in Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings. On fourth and four from the Vikings' 37-yard line, Hurts found Brown down the left sideline for a long touchdown to put the Eagles up 7-0.
That reception alone was more yards than Brown had in three games this season. If the Eagles can continue to get Brown involved, the talks of a trade will die down.
