The Los Angeles Rams went to London and absolutely dominated the Jacksonville Jaguars 35-7 in the international battle at Wembley Stadium.
The Los Angeles Rams traveled internationally in Week 7 for an interconference battle with the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London, England, and Sean McVay's team walked away with a 35-7 win.
Los Angeles completely dominated the first half, finding the end zone on three of their four real drives (excluding their final drive of the half, where they ran out the clock). And, after an ugly third quarter, they scored two more touchdowns in the fourth.
Matthew Stafford was unbelievable, throwing five touchdowns, finding Davante Adams for three of them and finding rookies Konata Mumpfield and Terrance Ferguson for the other two.
Los Angeles' defense was also dominant throughout the day, limiting the Jaguars to just one touchdown while forcing five punts and four turnovers on downs. They were getting after Trevor Lawrence, recording six sacks and constantly knocking down passes and forcing incompletions.
Final score: Rams 35, Jaguars 7
It was over when...
... the Jaguars turned the ball over on downs in the second quarter at Los Angeles' 11-yard line. The Rams were already up 21-0 and were getting the ball back to begin the second half.
3 stars of the game
- Matthew Stafford: 21-of-33 (63.6%), 182 yards, 5 TDs
- Davante Adams: 5 rec, 35 yards, 3 TDs
- Quentin Lake: 6 tackles, 2 PBU, 1 sack, 1 FF
Play of the game:
It's tough to pick a best play from a day where the offense scores five touchdowns, but Stafford's no-look touchdown to Adams in the back of the end zone has to take the top spot.
No-look TD pass?? Matthew is DIFFERENT.
