Carlo Ancelotti is preparing to embark on a new and extended chapter in his journey with the Brazilian national team, as he is set to sign a five-year contract extension, keeping him at the helm of the Seleção until 2030, according to the newspaper Diario AS. This agreement will maintain the Italian's position as the highest-paid national team coach in the world.
Ancelotti arrived in Brazil in the summer of 2015, choosing the challenge of coaching the legendary national team over continuing at Real Madrid. Since taking charge last May, he has led the team in eight matches, recording four wins, two draws, and two losses, in preparations aimed at his ultimate goal: the 2026 World Cup.
Brazil will compete in the upcoming World Cup in Group C, where they will face Morocco, Haiti, and Scotland, in an attempt to restore the Canaries' glory and reclaim the title that millions of fans around the world are eagerly awaiting.
